Considering the Journey
If you're on this page, we know it's just a matter of time before you take the leap of freedom and join the Loc'd N Lovin' It Family. For some, the consideration phase is short-lived, while others may windle there for months...sometimes years. With so much information at your fingertips, it can all be overwhelming, at best. What I've found is, scheduling an individual consultation to get your hair analyzed so that you can get answers to questions that will impact "your" journey is the most compelling source of information you can have.
All loc journeys at I Love Your Locs LLC begin with a Consultation. This is a one-hour one-on-one session where you and your prospective loctician discuss your loc goals, go over your personal hair care history, talk about the loc lifestyle and responsibilities to protect your investment. Your hair and scalp will be analyzed for several factors to determine the suitability for locs with your specific hair type and what locking method is best/preferred.
With all your questions answered, if you wish to take the first step in starting your journey, your loctician will establish a set of test locs in your hair to wear for approximately two weeks and you'll return to have them examined so you can be cleared to establish your locs. For some, analyzing your test locs and establishing are performed in the same day.
